Studying the bible is the only way to know and understand God and His will.Paul the Apostle writes to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:15 encourages him to study to show himself approved and able to rightly divide the word of truth. In the King James version of the bible the translators used the ‘study’, the Darby Bible says ‘strive diligently’ and the Message Bible says ‘do your best’. The Greek word is ‘spoudazo’ which means to make every effort, to be earnest and diligent, to study. For a Christian not to be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, they must be diligent to study and understand the word of God. 
Bible study does not though have to be this heavy thing nor does it mean attending bible college or going to university. The object of this site is to help you broaden your understanding of the truth of God’s word in a clear and simple manner, using all the experience I have gained as a bible scholar and teacher over the years. We will seek to gain deeper understanding through looking at the circumstances prevailing at the time of the writing of a particular verse or passage. We will look at the language in which it was written and we will compare it to the bible as a whole to ensure that nothing is taken out of context or twisted in any way. This site is also by no means intended to replace your attending a church and being fully involved there. If what is revealed in these studies conflicts with what you have been taught or what you have understood, please discuss it with your pastor or minister. Do we know everything?NO. No. No. Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 13:12 that we see only in part. This is an illustration to show the imperfection of our knowledge. If I or you or any other person ‘knows it all’ then we should be in heaven.My endeavour is that as I do the research for these studies, I will grow in my knowledge and understanding of Christ that will enable me to impart the same to you. I have no designs or desires to start yet another church. There are already far to many. My desire is to grow as a Christian and as a person who has some thing of value to offer.
